They prophesied about the future while they were dying and shaped the future. You do the same. When you are dying is the most powerful moment to release prophetic words about your future.

The book of Hebrews tells us about three powerful patriarchs who made declarations and pronounced blessings while they were experiencing death. They all understood the death experience is the moment to make profound and instructive statements from the heart that will shape events to come.

Hebrews 11:20-22

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

Once a person begins to experience death if handled with the act of worship, it opens the door to seeing the future and so words spoken as such moments are prophetic and definitive. They do not return void.

Today we do not have to wait for the “end of our lives” on the earth to enter into this season. In Christ we die daily and it is important to know that the moments are prophetic and definitive. They do not return void.

Today we do not have to wait for the “end of our lives” on the earth to enter into this season. In Christ we die daily and it is important to know that the moment you begin to experience death of the old is a time of visitation you must not miss. You must at that time rise up and make declarations about your future.

Paul spoke about speaking in faith as we die. The experience of death occurs when we are troubled on every side, perplexed or cast down. The moment you hear or see something, when you experience something negative that brings the feeling of discouragement is when you should speak into your future leaning on the Holy Spirit.

Read these words penned by Paul and better still practice this. We speak the word in season so that we may be prepared to speak it when not in season. We stand so that on that evil day we may be able to stand. The moment of death is pregnant with the opportunity for life, don’t get discouraged speak the word then.

2 Corinthians 4:7-13 King James Version (KJV)

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
